Frame Kit
Our Price: $150.00

Pre-cut frame based on frame diagram.  Will fit original and fiberglass reproduction body.  Requires welding.  Includes coupler.  Axle, hubs, and shackle kit sold separately.  Shipping cost to be determined.

Cargo area of a completed trailer is 4' x 5' 6" x 2' (35 Cu Ft)  and has a carrying capacity of 995lbs.

Overall width with fenders is 5' 5"
Overall length hitch to end of box is 7' 6"
Height varies with tire size but on average 45"

Trailer works well with 56" dropped axle and zero offset wheels.  See second photo.  Tires are 15 x6 205.75R15

A striaght axle will work but gives the trailer a 4 x 4 look.  See third photo.  Tires are 15 x6 205.75R15

Latches and hinges sold separately.  

Trailer will be packaged for shipping via frieght.  Crate charges are $75.00 plus actuall shipping cost.  The $75 will populate and you will be notified of actual shipping costs after the crating of the item.  After crating the overall dimensions are 66"x48"x 15" and the weight is 80lbs.   Freight charges through our normal carrier FedEx have run from $250(East Coast)  to $375 (California).   THIS IS AN ESTIMATE ONLY.

The fiberglass body has the advantage of being more durable than the original and will never rust.  We eliminated the tailgate which eliminates any potential leaks, although it can be easily connected to have a tailgate. The reproduction hinges and latches are made of modern alloys for strength and are chrome plated. The lid is restrained to prevent it from flipping over onto your car. Recent ads in automotive magazines indicate that restored Mullins trailers have an asking price of anywhere from $3500.00 to $4200.00 and these kits are sold elswhere for $1,400.
